2016 April Education Session Details

In keeping with the SITE Global Education Week theme 'Growing Together' and

the  initiative this year as outlined below, we will feature our local charity YouthLink.

SITE & ECPAT: Turning Awareness Into Action

In 2015 SITE pledged its support of ECPAT’s efforts to end human trafficking.

We also signed the Code of Conduct for Protection of Children from sexual

exploitation in Travel & Tourism.

The focus of our April 13 event will feature educational content through speakers from YouthLink, who work with youth experiencing homelessness and many other issues by reconnecting them with resources and the community. Their mission is to support and empower young people on their journey to self reliance. Homelessness is just one aspect of their struggle. Within this umbrella is also support, structure and guidance for sexually exploited youth.
